JEWISH HERITAGE PROGRAMS AND LUBAVITCH HOUSE AT PENN PRESENT
OUR MISSION
To engage with and energize individuals not normally involved in Jewish communal activities, through peer-to-peer programming. JHP inspires college students to participate in activities that celebrate Jewish pride and tradition. It helps each individual understand their own ability to have an impact in making the world a better place.

JHP's Current Programs
Community
Created a vital Jewish community and a safe space through engagement programs at Penn and five additional JHP campuses (Texas Austin, Vanderbilt, Michigan, Temple, Penn State).
Jewish Identity
Provided training and programming to bolster Jewish identity and support of Israel.
Israel
Helped launch six Faculty Trips to Israel from major universities across the country after October 7 and a pilot program allowing forty Israeli graduate students to attend Penn this summer.
Jewish Content
Created the Institute for Jewish Spirituality and Society, which identifies and disseminates powerful Jewish content for university faculty relevant to their fields of study (published four books and held eleven conferences)
Support
Enhanced and supported Chabad at Penn.
Light 4 Israel
Special Projects such as Light4Israel Campaign, which distributed 250,000 Shabbos candles across the US in just 2½ weeks after Oct 7 and reached over 10 million people via social media
